Abstracts
Most of my work illustrates concrete images. However, I am also intrigued by both theoretical concepts and mathematically generated designs. At such times, shapes become symbols and patterns in which meaning truly lies in the eye of the beholder.
45.25" x 27.5" In 1830, President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, which forced the relocation of Native Americans living in the southeastern United States. This forced relocation is now known as “The Trail of Tears,” one of the saddest chapters in American history. Inspired by a digital painting of the same name by J.J. Peabody, this piece represents the uncountable tears shed by the Cherokee as they trudged into the dark unknown. Price: $6450

As soon as the trigger hairs surrounding the leaves are stimulated - SNAP! The unlucky insect becomes dinner. Price: $1665.00
21.75" x 16.75" Inspired by a clutch of dandelion puff-balls, this piece took itself in a completely new direction. Imagine the stars dancing together somewhere in space. Price: $900
10.5" x 24" Inspired by the bold colors and energy of the Brazilian Carnivale, what began as a doodle became a carnival of color, line, flash, and fancy. The idea was to use the same structure and color palette in three different ways, much one might view the costumes of the dancers in a Carnivale parade. Price: $630
21" x 36" The creativity we have as children is unfortunately discouraged by restraints placed on us by various well-meaning authority figures as we grow into adulthood. This piece represents what happens when fresh, new ideas escape the old restraints and float free into the realm of “What If?” Price: $2500
33" x 27" "Fractal I: Scheherazade" is an original fractal designed with UltraFractal software and recreated in fabric. The spirals spin into infinity, much like Scheherazade spinning her tales night after night. Price: $2675
