We live in a community where many of us walk in the morning for exercise. These two ladies were ahead of us on one such morning. They were so cute with their bucket hats and baggy pants, that I simply had to capture them in fabric. 20” x 27” While touring the ruin of Bodiham Castle in Sussex, England, we were treated to performances by several groups of local Morris Dancers. Imagine the joyful noise of the dance – the bells around the dancers’ knees jingled and their sticks clacked together as they jumped to the piper’s tune. The challenge to myself was to capture the joy and movement in fabric and thread. The collaged background mimics the hops and skips of the dance. Price: $1650
